About the clinic

Expert sports and musculoskeletal care, built around you

The Sports Doc helps athletes, active adults and people recovering from injury move well, recover confidently and return to the activities they value — across our Surrey and London clinics.

Who we are

About The Sports Doc

The Sports Doc is a private clinic focused on sports injury, musculoskeletal and orthopaedic-related problems, and rehabilitation. We support people of all activity levels — from those returning to exercise and weekend enthusiasts, to dedicated amateurs and competitive athletes.

Our approach is simple: understand the whole person, reach a clear diagnosis, explain it in plain English, and agree a practical, evidence-informed plan. We believe good care is collaborative, and we make time to answer your questions.

  • Thorough assessment of the whole picture, not just the symptom
  • Clear explanations and shared decision-making
  • Personalised rehabilitation and return-to-sport planning

Our mission

To help active people recover from injury and return to what they love — safely, confidently and with a plan they understand.

Our approach

Evidence-informed, individualised and collaborative. We combine careful assessment with clear communication and structured rehabilitation.

Our values

Honesty, safety and respect. We never over-promise, and we recommend professional assessment whenever it matters.

How we work

Patient-centred care from first contact to full recovery

No two injuries — and no two people — are the same. We take time to understand your symptoms, your sport, your training load and your goals, so the plan we agree genuinely fits your life.

Throughout your care we aim to keep you informed and involved, set realistic expectations, and provide criteria-led milestones so you know when it’s sensible to progress.

Runners

From shin pain and Achilles issues to knee and hip overload.

Gym & strength

Shoulder, back and lifting-related injuries, plus technique-related overload.

Team sports

Acute trauma, sprains, strains and contact injuries.
