Our services

Expert assessment, rehabilitation and return-to-sport care

From first assessment to full recovery, our services are designed to give you a clear diagnosis, a practical plan and the support to get back to what you enjoy.

Service 01

Sports injury assessment

A detailed, hands-on assessment of your injury — whether it’s a fresh problem or one that has been troubling you for some time. We take a thorough history, examine the affected area and related regions, and explain our findings clearly.

  • Comprehensive history and physical examination
  • A working diagnosis, or a clear plan to reach one
  • Practical next steps explained in plain English

Service 02

Musculoskeletal (MSK) assessment

Not all aches and pains are sports injuries. Our musculoskeletal assessment evaluates joint, muscle, tendon, ligament and movement problems across the body — helpful for active adults, desk-based workers and anyone with persistent pain.

We look at the whole picture, including contributing factors such as load, posture and previous injury, so the plan addresses the cause — not just the symptom.

Service 03

Diagnostic guidance

Imaging isn’t always needed — and unnecessary scans can sometimes cause confusion. We help you understand whether investigations such as X-ray, ultrasound or MRI are likely to change your management, and we interpret results in the context of your symptoms and goals.

Any imaging is arranged where clinically appropriate. We’ll explain what a scan can and cannot tell us before recommending it.

Rehabilitation planning

Rehabilitation is at the heart of recovery. We design structured, progressive programmes tailored to your injury, sport and goals — rebuilding strength, movement and confidence in stages.

  • Individualised, staged exercise progression
  • Clear goals and milestones at each stage
  • Coordination with physiotherapy where helpful
Service 05

Injection therapy information

For some musculoskeletal conditions, an injection may be one option among several. Injections are considered only where clinically appropriate, after assessment, and as part of a wider plan — usually alongside rehabilitation rather than instead of it.

If an injection is being considered, we will discuss the potential benefits, limitations, risks and alternatives so you can make an informed decision. Not everyone is suitable, and injections are not a guaranteed solution.

This section is general information only and is not a recommendation for any individual. Whether any treatment — including injection therapy — is appropriate can only be decided after a personalised assessment by a suitably qualified clinician.

Service 06

Return-to-sport planning

Returning too soon is a common cause of re-injury. We use objective, criteria-led milestones — based on strength, movement quality, confidence and sport-specific demands — rather than time alone, so you return as safely as possible.

  • Clear, measurable progression criteria
  • Sport-specific reconditioning
  • Strategies to reduce the risk of recurrence

Second opinions

If you’ve been given a diagnosis or are considering treatment and would value an independent perspective, we offer considered second opinions. We’ll review your situation, explain the options, and help you feel confident about the way forward.

Service 08

Injury prevention advice

Preventing injury is often more effective than treating it. We provide individualised advice on training load, strength, movement and recovery to help reduce your risk of injury and overload — whatever your sport or activity level.

Service 09

Post-operative rehabilitation support

Recovery after surgery is a journey. We provide guidance and rehabilitation support following an operation, working alongside your surgical team and physiotherapist, with a focus on restoring function and a safe return to activity.

Post-operative rehabilitation is always guided by your operating surgeon’s specific protocol and any individual precautions.

Service 10

Performance & movement advice

For active people wanting to train and move more efficiently, we offer practical advice on movement quality, strength and load management — helping you build resilience and get more from your training while reducing injury risk.
